The Holidays are over, the New Year has rung in. What I find, is by this time I’m counting down the days till daylight savings. It usually requires an Act of God to get me out from the warmth and comfort of my home during these drab and “lack luster” months of winter.
Luckily, between January 25 and February 3, Visit Baltimore and Downtown Partnership of Baltimore have designed Restaurant Week to help people just like me in combating the winter blues. This MAY not be an Act of God in terms of parting seas or pillars of fire, but I can say that dining at any of the participating restaurants for the prices they’re advertising is nothing short of miraculous. For just $30.13 or $20.13 you can enjoy a three course dinner at an overwhelming number of highly rated and lavish restaurants including Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Kali’s Court and McCormick & Schmick Seafood.
Please be sure to make reservations ahead of time. Availability is going to diminish greatly as this week of culinary genius draws near. Waiting till the last minute WILL in fact require an Act of God or at least some Divine Intervention to get a table, so don’t procrastinate on this! You don’t want to be the one that dropped the ball and winds up dining at the ONLY place left with a seat… ordering off a dollar menu.
